How schoolwork happens at Hyphen
We encourage teens that enrol with us to remain connected to structured academic learning, wherever relevant.
Typically this is through Te Kura correspondence school, New Zealand’s largest school.
Upon enrolment, our teens are allocated to the Kaimanaaki who works with all of our Hyphen teens so is familiar with the way we work.
There’s no rigid timetable, so Te Kura students are able to engage with learning materials at times and at a pace that suits them.
Programmes are flexible, so students can study fewer subjects if they want, or be learning across multiple different year levels.
Other qualification learning options include Aotearoa Infinite Academy, or any university, polytech or tertiary educator with online learning options.
Families wanting to engage with overseas curriculums may want to enrol with Crimson Academy or study towards GEDs.
